Location: 719 Atkinson Road, Canoona
Dogs: Dogs allowed. Must be on lead at all times. Loose dogs will see related riders disqualified.. No campsite reservations. Fires: Due to the local area being in drought there are no campfires allowed! There will be a communal fire near the ride office. Catering: 5 star steak sandwich and coffee van will be available all day Saturday.

This is a true 'no frills' ride. No showers available and portaloo toilets. Horse water will be available from tubs placed throughout the campgrounds. Pack plennty of buckets!
Horse manure can be spread out across the campsite before leaving.
All rubbish needs to be taken home with you.

Temperature Log: Standard AERA temperature requirements - 3 day log prior to arrival day. Have your HHD ready to be viewed on arrival.

Event Information
Welcome to the Alwyn Torenbeek Memorial Ride. In true 'Alwyn' fashion this will have an inheritly bush spirit. The track will be run on predominatley cattle properties and some gravel roads. Please understand you will be riding through paddocks with cattle and emus in them at times! Minimal hills but a technically challenging track. If your horse is not comfortable with these rural obstacles please think of ways to help yourself i.e organise a more experienced riding buddy. This will most likely be a hot ride, strapping water will be available at strategic points on track. Most of the horse water on track will be via cattle troughs.
A pre ride training track will be clearly marked. Please stay on the marked training track or the public road. No riding on course until ride start as we are riding on private property. The Electronic Timing System will be in use, QERA members please ensure you bring your tag.
