Event Information

Pre-entry biosecuritychecks will be conducted at Imbil Showgrounds, 16 Edward Street Imbil. Opening hours for pre-entry checks are:

Monday 29 June - 12 noon to 4.00 pm Tuesday 30 June - 9.00 am to 4.00 pm Wednesday 1 July - 9.00 am to 4.00 pm Thursday 2 July - 9.00 am to 3.00 pm

Biosecurity around cattle ticks The ride base and tracks are in a cattle tick infested zone and before you move horses from an infested zone to the free zone you must be tick free and have met your cattle tick risk minimisation requirements. This applies to anyone travelling to or through New South Wales and to this end TQ26 Committee will have a Queensland Approved Certifier on site and will be avaiable between 1.00 and 3.00 pm to spray horses. This must be booked and paid for through the AERA Online system.

Firewood - bagged up firewood will be delivered to the ride base by our local suppliers "Bush and Beach Trees" - please order this via Service Items.

Volunteer and Spectator camping There are no campsites designated for volunteer and spectator camping but these can be registered for counting purposes.
Spectators are asked to pay a per night camping fee up to a maximum of three nights - so if you are only there for two nights pick two 2 and pay $30. If you are there for the week pick 3 and pay $45.

Refer to the TQ26 website https://tomquilty.com.au/ - information is building here so keep watching. Volunteers can nominate there - a great way to experience a Quilty if you are not riding.

Or check our Facebook https://www.facebook.com/groups/656085431529987 - you can scroll back and see a lot of info from two previous Quilties run at the same venue.

INTERNATIONAL RIDERS NOTE:

  1. If you are a current member an AERA Division- use the 'Ride Entry - AERA Divison Member' option, otherwise use the 'Ride Entry - International Rider'.
  2. International riders must provide a 'Letter of No Objection' from your National Federation which should be emailed to Kim Moir at mailto:kim.moir@aera.asn.au.
