Event Information

RIDE BASE: 1268 FOUR MILE CREEK ROAD, PANUARA NSW 2800.
Closest shops, fuel and accommodation - Orange NSW.

The Matar & Bullio NSW State Championships will include all AERA Riding Divisions plus CEI 3* Youth/Open Divisions. The Matar & Bullio Cup 80-100-120km Elevator will includes all AERA Riding Divisions plus CEI 2* Youth/Open and CEI 1* Youth/Open Divisions.

Both Events will be run on Sunday 5th October 2025. Important: Clocks will change on Sunday 5th October at 2:00am Australian Eastern Standard Time to 3:00am Eastern Daylight Savings Time. All rides will commence with EDST.

All rides will be run utilising the VGIH vetting of two attempts to recover to 64bpm within 15mins for all legs during the ride leading into the compulsory hold times, and 64bpm within 20mins with one attempt at the end of the ride. CEI horses will follow these requirements, and include the additional FEI vetting & riding parameters. Information expaining vetting & event requirements are explained in the Summary Vetting Requirements & Events Information document attached to this Events page. All information and requirements will be eleborated on at the compulsory Pre Ride Talk and are subject to change if necessary.

A Pathways document is attached for new FEI riders to help navigate the administrative requirements to enter. Please ensure that you start your paperwork journey early (at least a minimum of 4 weeks prior to entering).

Nominations for all events will open at 09:00 am on 1st September, 2025. Nominations for all events will close at 11:00 pm on 24th September 2025.

Full refunds will be paid up until 11:59pm, 2nd Oct 2025 via AERAOnline Entry. After that date, requests for refunds will be to the Ride Secretary, via Email - canobolasendurance@gmail.com. Any agreed refunds will be refunded after the Events.

CEI Attendees ONLY - on arrival, check in with the FEI Ground Jury to be allocated your camp site and to have your horse inspected.

COURSE - Best described as undulating, with some climbing, good going underfoot for the most part and some great travelling through farming country, Canobolas State Forest and Newmont Mining country. It is strongly advised that horses have some fitness and be shod in some format. There will be a number of road crossings where horses will give way to any vehicular traffic at all times. All horses will be asked to walk across the bitumen roads as a matter of safety.

CATERING - as per Blackboard Menu and Pre-Ordered Meals (see attached Menus form). Pre-ordered & paid dinner meals for Friday & Saturday nights can be ordered as separate AERAOnline orders from 9:00am 1st September to Monday 29th September and can be ordered separately to entries. Friday 3rd Oct - Opening Hours 6pm-8pm for Pre Ordered Meals via AERAOnline Only. Saturday 4th Oct - Opening Hours 7am-8pm All day Blackboard Menu + Pre Ordered Meals via AERAOnline. Sunday 5th Oct - All day Blackboard Menu. Monday 6th Oct - Opening Hours 7.30am-9am - Blackboard Food Breakfast Menu Only.

Friday 3rd Oct commencing approx. 6pm - to "kick things off" CERC will be hosting a social "happy hour" where you can mingle around the communal camp fire and listen to "juke box" music. Music requests taken on Canobolas Endurance Riders Facebook page. Pre-order Friday night dinner on AERAOnline and relax before formal proceedings start on Saturday.

There will be great lucky rider number draws at the Presentations on Monday 6th September. Lucky Draw Prizes will be awarded only to those at the Presentations. We respect that everyone wants to "get on the road" as quickly as possible. We will do everything in our power to ensure that the Presentations commence on time, and we ask that you plan to stay to provide a fitting end to what will be a great weekend of endurance riding.
